Have your choice of oil- olive oil is best-you could also use coconut or til(sesame oil). In circular motions, apply the oil all over your scalp and hair. Dip a towel in very hot water, wring out the excess water--use it as a turban over your oiled hair. Repeat when towel cools down. Keep it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Shampoo off the oil and use some conditioner--natural or cosmetic. Blow dry or dry naturally and marvel at the results!

As a beauty professional in the hair care business I can assure you of what Hot Oil Treatments are not: They are not deep conditioning. They can not penetrate the hairs layers. They lie only on the surface! No matter what others say t his is true! Its a quick fix to make your hair feel a bit better. There are other deep conditioning treatments available that actually do penetrate the shaft and ends, ask a stylist! Good luck!!

Its oil that you buy at beauty stores, you heat it up and put it in your hair.. it rejuvenates it from everyday stresses (blow drying, curling... brushing exc.), and helps add moister to your hair. Mayo also works
