The "His" is just symbolic of the "Creator" and offers no gender. It's like calling a car a "she" or a boat... The fact is that God, the Creator, The Great Spirit, the Goddess is All the forementioned. Who are you to say there is no God?

In my opinion if you are a true seeker of the truth you will have an open mind. As far as beauty is concerned I like it better when it is innocent. I could give you an example with some photographs I took of our family members. They didn't know I was taking a picture and I caught most of the group while they were simply living. There were two girls playing on the lawn and two of my brothers walking with three other kids trailing. I like the photograph because it shows people interacting with some innocent emotion that is not focused on the camera. I always like to use the word intent, because when people really know what their intentions are they live more meaningful lives. If we really want to have a planet that cherishes overall peace we have to remove the ill intended hatred. As long as we have a very different religions living side by side there will be the possibility of a war. This latest war in the middle east shows us first hand the damage from such a conflict. It is religion that they are fighting over. Centuries of hatred combined with modern technology. What should be done is the people that wanted the war should go down and rebuild it and talk to the people that are living in between. I don't have the answer but I do know that as long as we mix religion and politics together we will have war. I will mandate a new law for the global comunity. Religion will be banned from all of the governments on earth. People will have the right to worship any faith they like but the basic structure of government can not dictate a religious role. It sounds good but it is much more complex than that, I am making enemies as I write...

I think both are a matter of perspective. From my personal perspective I think the definition of being closed minded is only accepting something you can visually see and understand. Beingn unable to consider something you don't understand seems to fall under open mindedness. I am open minded about God and His Word since I believe every word of it. However, at the same time I am closed minded about His Word because I believe it is the final authority. So, as you see, a matter of perspective.

I enjoy open mindedness. I also enjoy being in my own little world which is filled of others opinions, but I will choose my likings ultimely. People may not like what another is doing or agree with their thoughts, but we need to respect each other and just be happy. =)

I am open minded. But I check it with the Truth. If it agrees with Gods word, Good. If not, I am closed minded about it.

sI think we would all like to be open minded but this can be very difficult. There is so much to consider that we only have so much time to acquire information that we have to make decisions on what we know. We should be capable of changing our thoughts when there is more information we become aware of.
This is learning and some people refuse to accept any new information and even become quite angry when it is presented and it disturbers their belief system.

Open-mindedness because one can appreciate what's around you. With close-mindedness, one can overlook things, especially the most important things.

I believe in open mindedness, because if you are close minded, then you are not willing to learn anything new.
