Females...what do you do when your man is out of town for awhile (more than a week)? Do you sit around missing him? Do you go out with the girls? Do you do anything to try and keep busy? Do you just enjoy a little 'me-time', time to do whatever you want?

I do a bit of everything!!!! Meet up with the girls for lunch, do a bit of retail therapy and then you can either doll yourself up for a night out with them, or I find chilling in with a few dvds and a bottle of wine by yourself is just as nice - depending on how hectic your social life!!!
Do whatever you feel like - but dont sit mooching around the place miserable!!!

I miss him alot (of course) but I do stuff that I cant normally do when hes around like my nails, use teeth whitener, visit friends and family I havent seen in a while, do some extra cleaning, I work out a bit more, and go to bed a little eariler. No partying for me unless its a big occasion for a friend or something. I wouldnt want him to be out clubbin so I only do what I think would be ok if he went and done it.

My man was gone for two months last year he travels during the hurricane season and cleans up debrie, I missed him tremendously but I always kept myself busy, I focused in my studies (Im in college) did lots of stuff with my kids, worked and talk to him everynight before I went to bed. When you keep yourself busy the time goes by quicker.

Absolutely ME time. It's so nice to watch whatever I want on the TV without snide comments about how stupid or boring it is. I only have to cook for myself and clean up after myself. And, best of all, I don't have to touch a toilet seat to put it down.

It's a nice break.

I scrapbook and clean and work. Anything to keep busy so I don't loose myself in being upset about it. Now, sleeping at night without my husband is another trick, that I'm no good at.

Truthfully? I put his picture in front of me and light a candle. Then I cast this little spell three times as I draw a circle around him slowly in the air with my finger (my magic wand!):
No time, no distance,
No hurt, no hate,
Will ever separate me,
From my mate.
Then close your eyes and send the light of your love to protect him and bring him home...in love with you, of course. peace, Isis
