If you are sure that she is pregnant and you are wondering when it will happen then I can tell you that normal gestation in dogs is 61-65 days. Generally, though, they deliver 9 weeks or 63 days after the second breeding. Signs to look for are swollen vulva, leakage, refusal to eat, temp drop around or below 98 degrees, nesting, hiding, grouchyness, heavy panting, - you may want to take a look at this website http://www.debbiejensen.com - it is packed with useful information. also, you will need a whelping box. Good Luck

the days after being breed is 63. Your dog will start looking for a nesting place that she finds secure. She will scratch at the area circle making her bed. She will t be as ape to eat. When she is giving birth she will not be interested in eating until the last pup is born. She will be panting in the last part of her labor .

She'll be probably a bit restless in the beginning of her labor, walking about a lot...some dogs tend to get grouchy when in the early stages. She will look for a darker, quieter spot to lay down when it's time for pushing the pups out in the final stage. She might not eat, but still provide her with plenty of water and some tasty food close by to her.

If she is showing active labor signs, like rapid breathing and you can see that she is trying to push for more than 12 hours, she might have trouble and needs help from a vet then.

But usually animals are just doing fine themselves. Try not to grab the pups as soon as they come out, mommy dog, still in labor, might bite you, if she things you'll be harming her newborns...

They will start looking for a spot to give birth. You may also see the pups kicking.I think its about 93 days of pregnancy.I just want to say that where ever she gives birth,,please use newspaper only for the bedding area,,even after birth because it is too easy for the little ones to sufficate in material things such as blankets or towels. And do not keep your dogs water bowl in the birthing area,,the mother will not like that & will move the pups for fear of them drowning. And,,keep the smallest closest to her (under front arm & be sure it gets its share of milk.) Good luck . :O)

She/or he sleeps for a while and doesn't like getting up only to eat, **** zue got pregnet and she was laying on her back for a while, It depends on what kind of dog you have if you have a bigger dog they don't lay on there back they just lay on a bed. I absolutaly love dogs, and if you want go to your pet's doctor and he can tell you with one of those birth test's. Dog's usually give birth in 9 week's. One thing you could do for your dog is rub his/her tummy dog's love that. I wish the best of luck to you and your dog('s).

THE BEST WAY TO TELL THAT YOUR FEMALE IS READY TO GIVE BIRTH IS TO WATCH HER BODY POSTURE. USUALLY THEY START WHINING PANTING REALLY FAST AND HARD, AND THEY START DIGGING IN THERE BOX. THE FEMALES TUMMY WILL FEEL HARD. THAT IS USUALLY THE SIGN THAT THEY ARE GETTING READY TO GIVE BIRTH.
