Maybe you are worried that you don't have enough to contribute to the conversation. Try to make a few remarks and see if you can get drawn in, especially if they are talking about something where you might have some nugget of info the others care about. Listen to how other people get along in conversations - you might find it easier than you think. Good luck.

Because you are a conscious observer. And if you are always talking, you are not listening. If you are not listening, you are not learning. It's nothing wrong with it. You are probably a lot smarter then some of the people that talk just to hear themselves talk.

i was once told the quiet onces are the smart ones, the dumb ones dont shut the hell up. so try your smarts at www.highiqsociety.com and see if you can surpass 126 iq to join. im currently a member and it is worth it to spend the amount of money they ask for to join. thats how i got into college for damn near free. and here i am jabbering away like a dumbass. must had a brain fart.... yea well try it out lol.

lol, I don't like to talk much either, I'm always scared I'm going to say the wrong things and sound stupid in front of everyone. It's an insecurity issue.

you maybe introverted and talk when you feel the need to say something you'll say something!! being reserved (introverted) is not a bad thing. you probally are a very good listener which we could use alot more of in this world, and when you say something it is worthwhile!!!!

A fish will not get into trouble if it keeps its mouth shut! Same with me, one with few words. But there's nothing wrong with that. I listen more :-) and speak only when necessary.
