Fake Hair? Would you use fake hair? Why or why not?

Wigs, falls and fake hair seem to be prevalent in the media. Do you currently use fake hair? Would you ever?

i would use synthetic hair extensions which are fake man made hair but i read an aricle recently stating that the human hair industry is growing and eastern european women prisioners are forced to shave there heads for these extensions which is terrible and so wrong

oh yes I do sometimes. I have a headful of hair, but I love the ponytails you can just clip in or wrap into your hair. Especially the curly q curls. All I have to do is put my hair in a nice tight bun and wrap the hair piece around the bun a couple times, no one even knows it's not my hair. I use it on the days I wake up really late and have no time to get my hair done for work. But a wig for the whole head? No couldn't do it. They even make pony tail clips so all you do is put your hair in a ponytail and clip this over it, and it adds length.

I wouldn't. I have too much real hair, I really should get a hair cut. I would probably worry about my fake hair too much.

Besides, it would be pretty hard to match my hair color and I'm not dying my hair.

yes i have used fake hair i was trying something new and got my hair cut to short an i wore hair extensions until my hair grow back no one could even tell

I wouldn't now, but if I start to bald I'll consider it. We'll in my mind fake hair just seems like an odd concept.

i have a peice of fake hair that i put my hair in a bun, and then wrap the hair around the bun it looks like i spent hours on my hair and it saves me time when i am running late

I purchased extensions for my wedding. But never used them. They were too heavy and weren't guaranteed to stay in place the whole day. I didn't want them falling out while dancing or taking photos.

I've had extensions twice, both times thanks to bad haircuts. I prefer to wear synthetic hair, not human. First off, I agree with the woman who mentioned how tragic it is that they would force a prisoner to shave her head for our vanity purposes. Second, I do not want someone elses karma directly attached to me. It's weird, but so am I ;)

If I was an actor or some weirdo that wanted to be in disguise, I might, but I'd never dye my hair.
