It just means tha G-d chose us to be His special people. It doesnt mean that the rest of the people are second-rate.

To be chosen means to be a servent to God. In other words you help God bring others to his belief so more people can be saved when the world ends. If you are chosen it is an honorable thingy to be for example pasters tell the word of God towards others so others can learn. Healers can heal people with sicknesses by one touch or other things. Reavelers reaveal the future of what is going to become of you. A mensenger is a person who speaks to God for others and helps communicate. Well you know what I'm saying. So you have been either chosen to be a predicter, singer, reaveler preist or something like that. hope i helped(:

It is more like being drafted. The Jews were a chosen people because God promised Jacob that his children would be given the Jewish religion.

Paul used elect and chosen to mean people of the church. Paul assumed he was writing to good people.

It is really nothing special but words in the hands of kids is a bad thing sometimes.

Just before the time of Judgement, the truth about God and our life will be revealed to everyone from the new messenger who will belong to a religion(THE CHOSEN ONE) which is still existent now.

From that moment onwards, the world will become one and all religions / caste / sects following the messenger, his ways and the religion to which he belongs.

To add to it, there will be a holy war in which you will be asked to follow the messenger and if you dont, you will face the possibility of dying.

The people who will fight in this war would be from the chosen religion and they are known as the Chosen Ones. Yes, they are normal in this life but they have a extra-ordinary divine presence.
Also, if the Chosen Ones do not support the war and dont follow the messenger, they too will have to face death and also punishment in hell.

The Chosen Ones are at the final stage of their divine life or probably the closest to get a glimpse of God and stay in his paradise. They are currently following the true way to worship him and also following HIS command.

Now, everyone has an argument about this subject on who is following the right religion but fail to understand that they are placed where they currently are only by HIM.

I think its stupid to argue about who is right and who is wrong because in the end everyone has a chance to be amongst The Chosen People.

So, I suggest, you continue with your life, chase your dreams, and create a name for yourself and also take care of your parents because they are the only ones who can show you the right path, the right way to live your life and also the only ones who will support you forever.

Cheers to a good life !

Without getting into the politics of your question. It refers to the one's chosen by God. In the Old Testament of the Bible, the Jews are the chosen people.

The term "Chosen People" (Am Nivchar) does not mean racially superior, choseness does imply a special uniqueness.

What is this uniqueness?

Historically, it goes back to Abraham. Abraham lived in a world steeped in idolatry, which he concluded was contradicted by the reality of design in nature.

Abraham invested years of dedication and effort to be God's representative.

So Abraham came to a belief in God, and took upon himself the mission of teaching others of the monotheistic ideal. Abraham was even willing to suffer persecution for his beliefs. After years of enormous effort, dedication and a willingness to accept the responsibility to be God's representative in this world, God chose Abraham and his descendents to be the teachers of this monotheistic message.

In other words it is not so much that God chose the Jews; it is more accurate that the Jews (through Abraham) chose God.

Its how the Biblical Jews love to think of themselves and how the Christians support them in their feeling superior when Christianity worships "Jesus King of The Jews" who the "Jews" know to be two thieves who were crucified on the day of the Passover in Jerusalem when the Messiah was set free by the Romans who thought he was Zeus come down as his own son.

You will never find any mention of Jews in the Old Testament of the Bible. Jews were created out of the Tribe of Judah, one of twelve tribes, and all twelve tribes became Yahuudi under Moses and were blended in to this Yahud or Penitents. No Jew can trace his roots to any one Tribe today and they accept the lie of "Jews" just as Muslims accept the lie of "Clerics" when Islam is not a Church and has no clergy.

How gullible are these Christian armchair experts who dont know their **** from their elbow.

The USA President took a gamble, his old "gut feeling" is how he runs the USA, and he lost in pushing the Chosen People to try to annihilate Hizbullah and All the Guns and All the Bombs could not bring Humpty together again, and the Chosen of George Bush was made to turn back, and now the real War has begun.

Where will Georgie and his Goliath run now that little David is about to sling his shot?

The old "gut feeling" has failed once more and you cannot run and you cannot hide from Allah.

Like Pharaoh and Hitler, Georgie and his little band of arseslickers will bite the dust, chosen or selected or otherwise.

Well, let's not let the anti semites off of their medications please. The term "chosen people" has be present in many religions. It implies that a given tribe, nation, or other grouping is specially favored by a god or gods. This has been personalized to the point of assuming that the strength of one's gods determines the outcome of wars, commerce, etc. In essence it is a form of arrogance and presumptiveness and forms the basis for the kind of omnipotent thinking that usually brings people down with a thud.

The chosen ones will bring about the changes and act as catalysts to human ability. The rest of us will play the equaly important role of aiding the chosen. When you look at it no one person is more or less we all just are.

Good Question. It apparently means "Chosen to Make War", since the CP have been doing this for thousands of years.

And a lot of trouble results when you set yourself up on a hill like that, calling yourself "special".

That's why the "Master Race" came along and tried to exterminate the CP.

What's really SICK, is that these CP wrote what we call the "Christian Bible". All of the authors and writers of the Bible, were Jews.
