she'll be 16 yrs old in 1 month, i'll be 18 yrs in 2 months, we've known each other for 4 yrs and have been really good friends. I have deep feelings for her and want to take the friendship to another level, want do i do or say and because of this age thing could i even ask her out?

Well if you're looking for legality issues, it's fine. The age rule is if only one party is under 18, the other party must be no more than two years within their range.
If you're looking for moral issues, I say go for it bro! :)

Sure you can ask her out. The problem comes when you want to take THAT relationship to the "next level."
Since she is still a minor and will be for another 2 years, you really need to consider what's going to happen from there.
If you DO decide to have sex, are you BOTH going to be mature enough to remember to use proper precautions? Are you going to be responsible enough to handle the problems that might arise from family? These are things to consider.
Being parents at 16/18 or 17/19 or even 18/20 is NOT something you should be dancing around with.
Does it sound like I'm lecturing? You can bet on that; but after reading the scads of "I'm 16 & pregnant" questions, I am scared for ANYone who is young and considering a "serious" relationship!

i say go for it i was 15teen and my b/f was 18teen we were together for 3years it would of lasted a lot longer if he did not cheat on me
