how can i convert a dvd to DivX. and not the whole dvd. just a small part of it?

I know that it is difficult to find information about converting video files but there is a site that will help you.
Under the title HOW TO select Convert then in Format Conversions select DVD to DivX.

DivX isnt a file type. Its just a program. Its called DivX. I do know that you can convert DVD to avi using AVI2DVD program. It works nicely.

Hmm I never did perfect that. Try looking at www.Download.com and see what you can find. Type in "Dvd Convert" or the like.
