People have been marrying across religions and races forever. It could be a problem, but needn't be if you accept your partner as they are and don't try to convert them, and they do the same. The biggest problem could well be bigoted relatives. In my country, the problem of religion is not a problem because it's more important to be a decent human being. Almost half of the poeple in my country have no religion. The important thing is how well the couple are able to coexist. Mutual respect is really important.
If more people married across religions there would be less problems in the world.

It's what the bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Now whether in the mind of the Christian or the muslim as to which one they believe is the right is not a question . Because the muslim believes differently than the Christian. So how can 2 walk together unless they agree. I know in whom I believe...but I'm not saying one way or the other ..the principle remains the same ....the only way for them to marry is to agree in a common plain...
since marriage is not just a basic situation. I believe Jesus and therefore I must obey His word.and If you believe that Jesus is just a prophet...then how would I align myself with one who does not believe the same..God bless

I don't know why u ask but here goes. Christians are bought by the blood of Jesus. They are cleansed and purified from their sins. Muslims have a religion that adds to the book of the Bible.
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
It is clear that they shall be plagued. If I was u, I would become a Christian by accepting Jesus into my heart, and I would only be interested in marrying someone (another Christian) who would be blessed by god, not plagued.

i think a muslim man can marry a christian or jewish woman who believes in one God. marriage could be happy if both partner discussed the most important assests in their relationship. such as the kids has to follow which religion. what are some of the rules that you may not accept or accept. so everything need to be clear before marriage. otherwise both of them will have to adjust to some surprises.
but many muslims marry christians.

sure they can marry but the pressure will b more from the muslim man for the gal 2 convert.but there will never b happiness coz if the gal is christian she is bought up with lots of freedom and with equality with men & comparatively the muslim woman is bought up with restricted freedom &beliiefs.SO there is bound 2 b a clash while staying together ,even in modern opinions and they'll have diff viewpoint regarding thier faith. So iwould not advise these 2 communities 2 ever get married.

Yes, they can. I have a Catholic friend married to a Muslim, they have a happy marriage and as far as l know both families are not against them. They are also from different countries and both speak different languages, so they have different cultures, but this does not pose problems for them, "Love" as they say conquers all.

Islam encourages Muslims Marrying Christians or Jews.. And I don't think that there's a single tiny problem.

And BTW my uncle is Saudi and Muslim and he's married to an English Chritstian woman, and I think that they're the closest thing to the 'PERFECT COUPLE'

If 2 ppl loved each other, nothing can stop em

I can't say for sure, but I hope they can have a happy marraige. My sister is a christian who is married to a muslim right now. She seems happy, but she does have to wear non-skimpy clothes in public. Which really isn't too bad.

Marriage is possible but one should convert to wife/husband's religion or else there's a tendency of continuous debate.

the Bible warns Christians about being married to someone of a different faith. Things may be okay at first but as time goes by problems come in esp if you have children... both want the children raised in their faith.
