okay, let me start by saying please don't tell me how unhealthy this is. I've done my research to bite me. Onto the question. This principle DEEPLY intrigues me. My only problem is dealing with the hunger pangs until dinner. Any suggestions? I've been using hoodia and I have to tell you, breakfast is the only meal I truly eat. However, I LOVE to cook and would like to resist food until dinner time. The mornings are the only time I'm actuelly hungry though... any tip for staving off hunger until mid to late afternoon rather than feeling I must give in in the morning?

BTW this is not for weight loss. This is based on some things I've been reading on Muslem and Budist principles.

Eat one chili pepper when you get hungry. Don't put the fire out in your mouth with water. Suffer through the burn. Like Pavlov's dog, you be conditioned in no time. Be prepared for flaming diarrhea if you eat too many.

I know you don't want anyone to tell you how unhealthy it is to only eat once a day, but it is. Your body needs a certain number of calories to sustain itself, otherwise you can end up with some health issues.

If you're eating normally, Hoodia is an excellent appetite suppressant. When you introduce that with a good exercise and diet plan, you can definitely enhance the weight loss. It's important to remember that there isn't a magical pill that melts the extra pounds off.

I take a supplement called Herbalean. It's made by the original creators of MetaboLife, and not only does it contain Hoodia, it also has Ephedra (yes, it IS legal in the US as of April 14th, 2005!). It also has 77 trace minerals and 14 herbs. I've taken other supplements like HydroxyCut, Xenadrine, etc and had mixed results. With Herbalean, I get the energy through the whole day, and I definitely don't have any cravings.

I've been working a lot of hours at work, and haven't been getting enough exercise, and sure haven't been eating all that well. Still, I'm losing weight, just not as fast as I normally would with my regular exercise plan. Still, I'm not gaining like I was!

Okay, just to let you know, Hoodia..heard of it, don't know anything about it.
I don't know much about diet suppliments, pills whatever. I don't think tho that you should skip meals. Even if you can not eat 6 mini meals a day, you need at least small meals.

You could eat your breakfast like you said, you could have a piece of fruit for lunch even, or a protein drink or both.

Eat a sensible dinner.
Believe, skipping meals do not help you lose weight. The body stores that fat , and your metabolism gets all screwy.

Good luck to you

Your body will get used to whatever eating pattern you choose. To make the pattern change drink plenty of water throughout the day. Do not over eat at the one meal....

Interesting that you call me simpleton for posing a question that was a platform for people to discuss the concepts of imagination and creativity in children, whereas you are looking for tips on how to starve yourself.
