My goal today my aim, as insignificant as I am, is to spread light, joy, and peace. I may not be a great light blazing ahead for others but I am content if I can be even a match used to light anothers light. I cannot do great things but I content myself with the knowledge that I can do ordinary things with great love.

No I do not fear the Lord near as much as I fear disobeying Him or disapointing Him. I do respect Him and seek His love and approval.

I'd be extremely pleased with myself if i managed to lead someone to The Truth, and i do try to.
You are a Christian, a follower of The LORD.You are not ''insignificant'', without people like you the world would have been destroyed long, long ago.
I read in the past, i believe, that you do not fear The LORD?The Bible commands you to fear Him....
Not fear as in most people think of it...More like respect and understanding of Him, His power, and what He can do to you.
You should be in awe, and fear what would happen if you denied His existence.
My apologies for trying to correct you.
I understand you're older, and know much more about The LORD then i, but i felt i must say what i felt.

Indeed you are very right! I am glad to see you are practicing this.
Because people like you and I are the "light" we must keep in mind that we do have authority over the dark as well. Anytime you turn on a light, that darkness must flee.
Much is the same way with us. The best witness we can give is via our actions and what we say...
IN ADDITION
Remember Hapiness is event based... I got a new car... I am happy, I got a new cell phone I am happy.
But joy is purely enternal and does not come from just events but it lives with in you.

Thanks Debra. This crazy world needs more people like yourself. I try and be a light for others, I am a UM Lay Pastor so that is what I do. Try and help the lost souls find their way. Even the smallest thing can make a difference in someones life.

I like your attitude, that is great. Sharing the Lord is always a wonderful thing to do. God doea ask us to use our talents to work for Him and if what we do is help others find the light to the path to the Lord then I think that ia a very good deed. May God bless you and keep up the Lord's work.

None are insignificant in Gods eyes!
I try to spread some light everyday through the things that I do. I can preach or talk about Jesus to people, But unless they can see Him in me, what good is it?

i am a small candle that grows brighter each day , i can join with other candles in the world to make a great light
let us all be candles debra and shine and light the way for others when it seems to dark for them
and you CAN do great things .. you just got to believe you can !
