Don't be stupid, what an idiotic question. God looks more like Osama bin Laden.

Aside from the fact that God doesn't look like Father Christmas (He is a spiritual being, see), the image we were made in is that we have the the ability to love, choose and have a conscience. It is more of a spiritual image not physical.

How do we know that God looks like Father Christmas? All we know is that we were made in his image, yet we are all different.
Imagine a photocopier, but it has an error, and no copy is the same as the original. Well, God is the original, and we are the slightly flawed copies.

Let's set the record straight shall we, I have been studying the Bible for 25 years and when he said 'let US make man in our image,' he did not mean a PHYSICAL one he meant l the mental traits. Jehovah does not have any image, he is an awesome power like radiation with a brain. That is not an insult to him, but that's the only way you can descibe his power.Go and read your Bible, that's what he wrote it for.
It's shame it's wasted on most of the human race.

I don't know, but judging by averages, the world is a very ugly place!
We're always shown the beautiful people in the media, but there are a hundred times as many in the dole / welfare queues / discount shops / crack-dens, so on average the good looking / ugly balance is right over on the minger mark.
Therefore, God must be one ugly b@st@rd!

I took a course at uni called "Origins of Christianity." The idea of "made in his image" does not mean we are copies of what God looks like, but rather can be translated as made in the shadow that he cast upon the earth, ie made in his shadow.

Why isn't father Christmas black?
Maybe God is a bit more versatile in his appearance than just one person.

Good one!
Even ancient Greeks knew this to be nonsense. Xenophanes said that if horses could create art, gods would look like them. Similarly, the only reason the Christian God is anthropomorphic is that humans created him that way.
