Because they pick guys for the wrong reasons.

They pick a guy because he has lots of money/flash car without really thinking about whether they are really compatible. And without thinking that perhaps his constant focus on money means he's shallow, selfish or mean. Instant recipe for frustration and unhappiness.

They pick guys who are passionate and love sex. And then find that this guy is so passionate he can't contain his passion to one woman and start shagging their best mate and her sister.

They pick guys just because they are good looking. Many good looking guys are vain and can't keep their dicks in their pants. So they end up being cheated on.

They pick sexy, gym enthusiasts and sporty guys for their nice bodies and then complain that he spends all his time playing sport or at the gym. Well duh!

I've made as many mistakes as any woman but I'd honestly say my requisites in a man are intelligence, humour, personality and compatibility. I never get swayed just by flash cars or muscly bods or big bank accounts. Because I know that although such things are hot and sexy and fun in the short term, they might not be what you need in the long term and can cause more problems than you need.

well sweetie ,,, thats a deep ? ,,, i have a very sweet friend that has done the same thing,, she seemed to look for rough and tough guys the treated her like crap... she was in a very bad married, and she's had to deal with that,,, my ex is finding out the same thing also,, im just trying to find a decent woman myself that isnt into play games,, and wants a man that will always be there for her... its a hard thing to do starting over at 40

Because people normally go for the better looking ones first and then afterwards find out that they're not all they were giving fourth to be. On the other hand alot of people rush into a relationship without taking they're time to get to know the person propperly.

Take your time and get to know the person first before you jump into things. But sometimes you just got to wait for the right one to come along. For some they find them easily others just have to wait a bit longer so just give it time and things will work out.
