Why do "women" have this great fear of "farting" around men? Also my best friend got married because he said he got tired of holding his gas... Women in general are appalled by men and women "letting one ripppp" I don't understand this cause its a natural body function.. Why do we say excuse me when we burp then laugh whan we fart this is very confusing.....

I don't know who you've been around but most of the ladies I know fire back and laugh about it. Remember this is the 21st century of girls gone wild.....

Most men I know don't have the manners or courtesy to say "Excuse me" when they pass gas. It's like the guys I know are proud to do it and don't need to apologize for being rude. Not everyone wants to hear them and I don't understand how it's something that they're proud of. Sure, it's a natural bodily function and everyone does it but I don't see the humor in either one.

Me and most of my friends DO think that it's funny, but women being women, aren't supposed to "smell bad", etc., and THOSE kind of things, ya never can tell if it's gonna. Just like it's not a big deal if men don't shave for a few days, it's sexy. But if a woman has stubble, it's gross. Men are "supposed to be rough and rugged" & and women are "supposed to be delicate and refined".

we don't like to fart around men for the same reason we don't want to find a booger in our nose or have stinky pits - it's all perfectly natural but it's embarrassing! i've been with my hubbie for 18+ years and i still try not to do it in front of him. now burping, that's a whole other story - it's pretty dern funny in the right circumstances!

LOL ! you are right..most women do laugh when they do it..And the odor factor with women is twice as bad as a man's usually an the order of rotted turkey & dressing ...But in public forget about it...

I kind of see what you mean. For me and my girlfriend its not a big deal although she has a go at me when i fart but when she does it she thinks its funny.
