Hope not. the reason for the 2M limit is the bandwidth of the network. If you were to successful download a larger file, you run the risk of crashing the server and taking the entire network down. Which would absolutely get you fired from your job and could lead to criminal charges or civil charges for damages to the network. Hacking, and that is what going around the limitation would be considered, is illegal.

I strongly recommend that you do not attempt to exceed the 2M limit. Instead have whoever is sending the file either compress it to under 2M, divide it into smaller files, or send it on disc by snail mail.

Yes Split the download file sizes with a program like chainsaw then you can piece them back together on your station

Try a download manager. Download managers download only parts of a file at a time. Go to http://www.download.com and do a search for download manager to find a whole bunch of them.
