Hey everyone I just came across this on the internet and I would like to hear everyone's opinion on it

Think about it. If a big personality like he can't do anything about it, what can we do? Keep on publicising it? Keep giving the terrorists the media attention they desire? Keep all our focus on them? Keep writing blogs about it? Keep insulting & voicing our opinions on the subject on web sites such as this one?
As far as I am concerned, its the governments of countries such as mine (Australia), the USA & England that have the power to end this & they will not. So, for as long as we, the public, continue to keep these politicians in power, we will never see world wide peace, we will never see an end to this destructive behaviour of terrorists.
Here in oz, our Prime Minister is to interested in impressing Bush that he is not taking in to consideration what the majority of what our public want. And that is to withdraw our troops from other countries' wars to keep them here on our soil to protect us. We are so far away from any major army (such as the USA & England) that if we were to be attacked in any way, we would be almost helpless. Who would come to our defense? Asia? Korea? I don't think so. It would take an awful long time for another defense force with the monetary strength to come to our aide.
Good on you for thinking such positive thoughts, I just prey that someone in government thinks the same as you.
Peace is far from near.

I fully support RM on her detailed answer.
I am from India. My Govt. does not want to hurt the feelings of the Muslims, who are treated as a Vote Bank here and every party supporting them. The Govts., play with the lives of their people, just to remain in power. And some times, they cooperate wtih big brother, to remain in power. Money power plays very important role in elections, in every country and for this they have to support the industrialists, especially of Military ordinances.

wouldn't doubt it... especially considering the foiled attack in London this past week...
terrorists have attacked the World Trade Center before they actually succeeded in blowing it up in 2001... they've failed in the London attack... so who's saying they won't try again...
as to what you can do about it... i'm not sure. support your troops and pray for them everyday. same goes for the leadership of this country... support them and pray for them everyday.
