I was the passenger in my girlfriend's car, sleapy, when i noticed a military hellicopter flying overhead. It blew up while i was trying to figure out why it was there in the first place. Then the situation repeated itself, only the second time it was a bigger (or closer?) hellicopter and the explosion was like that of an a-bomb. This was all in one dream and it has not occured more than one time.
Do you know what this means?

Because dreams can have multiple applications simultaneously it is always valuable to stay alert and try to see 'through' the symbols.

From high school to age 28 I had multiple dreams about jets crashing. Sometimes I was on them and sometimes not. Gradually these crash dreams converted to more intense dreams that in time transformed entirely into one significant "big dream" in 1980. I later realized that the crash dreams were attempting to bring me back to my own real roots. I had to root myself back in myself. The military represents maximum, external, masculine 'social' power or force. The real root of the personality is the opposite pole of this. It is an inner power that culminates in a transformation.

Part of this process involves the "inner woman" that has been called the "anima" by psychologists. The "anima" often will take the form of your girlfriend, neighbor, etc. In my experience what is really important is the balance within yourself between the anima and your own masculine ego center.

The masculine power in you wants to come back to earth and reroot itself in a more proportioned way. The larger helicopter and the larger explosion might mean the sacrifice of that overblown male energy so that the female within can also operate better, achieve a little more independence, symbolized by the driving. The male energy needs a bit of rest. It is too lofty, too top heavy.

Your dream even coincides with current world situations. The Middle East situation is too top-heavy. So again male-dominated strategy is having the effect of hurling bombs at one another when a more feminine, co-operative approach would at least save innocent lives. Peace is the hardest thing. Thriving harmony between male and female is very hard.

I think your dream is setting the stage for you to explore a better balance between lofty male power and the female who also likes to drive and share, etc.

Male energy often has to learn to stop striving and simply come back down and rest with the feminine that will help restore, renew and refresh. This feminine energy may not be an actual outer woman. Rather the secret seems to reside with the female aspect of one's own actual personality. But all external relationships can benefit from an improved inner balance.

Your dream might be a positive one in the long run.

Sorry, cant help ya there...Don't know what it means but you know what ? I had a dream like that, a very weird one. I was in a bus with some friends and we were on a trip in a place at the north of my country (yup,I was aware of where I was) Suddenly everything stopped working, brakes, lights even my watch because of some magnetic storm (that's exactly what I was thinking in the dream) and because of that the bus crashed into a wall and we died. I remember I was choking and then suddenly,I was back in time. I was in the bus again, with my friends and everything else working then again brake, lights and my watch stopped working. I quickly stood up and yelled "WE'RE GONNA CRASH AND DIE!!! EVERYONE HOLD ON TO YOUR SEATS!!!" well,we did that and held the seats so tight but didn't work. We crashed and died again and the same feeling of choking and pain came to me again.
I've been asking around about what it meant but got no answer so I dropped it and I suggest you do the same...God loves you and he'll protect you from any harm so forget it ok and don't think too much about it,its just a dream,a weird one....what's making me confused is how clear it was and how am still able to re-tell and remember it in details.......well,take my advice and forget it.

bomb = anxiety
helicopter = on going self warning about problems you are facing
girlfriend's car = dependent

You are into some sort of anxiety and insecurity feeling, that is why you have this sort of dream. You are a dependent person; however, you can feel the warning sometimes in terms of problems, but you often ignore it due to insecurity. You projected bomb coming down because those are your insecure conscience. You may be stressed about relationship (girlfriend's car)

I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

Interpret Your Dreams on this site all the meanings without having to look them up never mind the...Title...of the web-site. http://www.freakydreams.com/ because Good Dreams also can be Interpreted.
Dreaming is a place of possibility and creation, a land of futures that might come and pasts that never were. It is also a land of nightmares.
It constantly changes as people fall asleep and shape parts of it, then wake up and their dreams dissolve back into mist. A dreams dictionary always helps ( for other descriptions needed ). http://myjellybean.com/dream/pagey.html
Did you know you can make yourself dream anything its called...Lucid Dreaming which this site will explains along with some other questions about dreaming. http://www.dreams.ca/

Wow! You have gotten yourself in a relationship that your unconscious mind, at least, considers to have "explosive" consequences. The symbolism of your girlfriend at the wheel is fairly obvious, and it may be o.k. for you at a conscious level that she has apparent control of the relationship, but my guess is that your inner man is having a very hard time with this "metro-sexual" existence.

"To thine own self be true". Heed the warning of your psyche, and take back the reigns of your relationship. Beyond that, examine your life for other elements that may be suffering from the "passive" approach, and make the necessary adjustments.

A strong man is not "macho", he simply uses his considerable powers to protect the little ones, defend the weaker ones, and generally lift up his fellow man. This may have fallen out of fashion in society, but it is apparently still the order of the day in your unconscious mind.

Good luck and God bless you!

it don't mean nothing but a dream, dreams are not some type of window that allows us to see in the future or past, dreams are not meant to come true, dreams are caused by our minds wondering while we sleep but we see what our minds are thinking. some people such as myself can dream about things that i want to and control the dream to do what i want to happen. to do this if you want to dream about something is to think about something all day up to the point when you go to bed and still be thinking of it until you fall asleep. you will dream about it. if it don't work the first time just keep thinking about it when you wake up till bed time again, soon you will be dreaming about your thoughts. which is what we do anyhow.

seems like your girlfriend has taken too much control of your life and of where it leads you (she's driving) or better to say you gave up your own life (it's her car), your personal development stagnated (you even felt sleepy).
the military reminds you that you have an own life and should not be too afraid or too lazy to live it and to have more discipline. the bomb tells you that it's high time to wake up fast or the situation will "kill" you.

good luck getting out!

It could be a precognitive dream so, look out. Or, it could be you're worried about something, millitary related.

The helicopter is your girlfriend's father and he is really angry at you and getting more angry all the time. He is going to drop a nuclear bomb on you.
