well, without knowing how old you are, or what style you like... i can safely assume that the greatest music ever produced was made between 1990 and 1995/6, so let's start there. Go for something like 'throwing copper' by Live, some early stuff by no doubt, and ur also in the right time period for some classic pearl jam and nirvana. If you like something a bit softer, and a little more alternative, go more towards the late 90s, and have a look at some stuff like 'Music in Mouth' by Bell X1, or some chilled out Matchbox 20. Don't neglect the old school legends who really know what lyrically charged ballads are about ie/ fleetwood mac, billy joel, and phil collins...

Bet it all depends on where you are and how you feel when you need the music. You don't wanna hear any sad musics if you are feeling really good, right? Fast paced songs maybe what you need.

well if ur the romantic kind i would go for ronan keating(she believes in me, we've got tonight, bring you home, my one thing that's real), westlife(soledad and well they sang classics of barry manilow frank sinatra they're good), the fray(look after you), maroon5(they are really cool especially she will be loved, heard em say), merle blue (every ship must sail away), patty griffin (rain)
insperational spiritual kind i would go for enigma(the screen behind the mirror etc..), era(Ameno, Avemano, the sentence etc..), b-tribe(hablando), enya(i recommend only time), Dido(i recommend life for rent, white flag, here with me don't leave home)
bad girl kind i would go for p.u.s.s.y cat dolls(buttons especially), pink(trouble, stupid girls), beyonce(baby boy, naughty girl, check up on it)
hip hop well im not much into rap but for me there is always the black eyed peas(i recommend mas que nada, pump it, don't funk with my heart, let's get it started, where is the love) sean paul (temprature, we be burning)
raggae can't help by much but go for bob marley and UB40 stay away from Paris Hilton no matter what people say!!!!
well Metal girl there is Korn(did my time, coming undone), The Rasmus(time to burn, in the shadows, life burns ), The 69 eyes(wasting the dawn), system of a down(lonely day), Evanescence(like all there songs THEY ROCK but there is bring me to life, going under, haunted, hello) metallica(nothing else matters, saint anger) linkin park(in the end, somewhre i belong, paper cut), apocalyptica(it's cello music but with a metal twist good stuff)
also consider: bond (the music band with tracks like libertango, sahara, speed, winter, shine, explosive etc.. ) sade(a real diva important give her a shot with songs like no ordinary love, jezebel, smooth operator, king of sorrow),
Foreigner(hot blooded), Frank sinatra(i left my heart in san franssico, come fly with me, strangers in the night well the guy made like 500 songs but they are really good) Dean martin(sway, that's amore), nancy sinatra(bang bang my baby shot me down)
well those are most of my favourits there is no limit in your choice of music give those a try and if u need anything send me an email
