Independence Day is a day that gives me goosebumps.Singing the songs in praise of our country, remembering the fantastic people who worked so hard to make our today what it is.What problems we face today are entirely our responsibility. If we are half as good as our predecessors we should work towards positive change. No one but us can bring about that change. Each one of us has to work individually at our own level to bring about that change, and i am proud to say that we can and we are.We might not realise it, but simply being a part of such a great civilisation, that has all of it's values in place,we can and do contribute to making this world a better place.

Its a day when i remember, honour and pray for the millions who gave up their life and comfort for the sake of their Nation, whom they consider as their own mother. And being another son of that mother gives me an immense pride.
