my favorite would have to be the Dodge Viper. not because of bang for the buck ( which would go to the corvette) but because of its sheer power, style, and what it takes to drive one. 450 horsepower (in the first generation viper) and it only came in stickshift. but knowing how to work a stickshift is not enough, you have to learn to drive the car, otherwise you'd just be spinning your wheels. speed is faster than the corvette (by a little bit) and is faster than a lot of your ferraris, in fact it takes 500k and up to beat its performance. for under 90k , this car is my ideal pick

That one's hard because there are so many. I can narrow it to the Ferrari F50 and Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 288 GTO and Lamborghini Diablo GTR. Mostly Ferraris because Ferrari has more racing experience than any other manufacturer and has built more race cars and sports cars than any other manufacturer that alone is enough reasons. Another eason is that racing orginated in Italy and that Ferrari is the only manufacturer to be in Formula One from its inception until today. Ferraris, unlike other sports cars, can be fast anywhere, on any track, which takes a lot of engineering. Not just in a straightline like a shopping cart with a jet engine attatched to it.

It is a Ferrari, (any thing for that matter, but in particular, the Enzo)

It is because of the brand name, and the long history that the ferrari has in sports car business.

And in case of Enzo, that is the fastest road car in the world .

it's not really a sports car, but it has to be the Mk 3 Capri, just because of the lines, it looks sexy, but that just my opinion, and it has a massive engine bay, easily take a 5 liter v8
