LV should be stamped clearly on all buckles, studs and zips. Also, many fake LV's have the trimming in a light beige instead of the usual honey colour. That is usually the biggest hint that it is a fake. I have a real LV tote and a fake bowling bag given to me as a joke - so it's easy to compare!!

Buy it from eluxury.com or a LV store = real

Buy it from some sort of swap meet or flea market = fake

Buy it from some person on eBay who sells it for $90 or for hundreds less = fake

Plus, the colors are usually off in the Monogram Multicolore... I can spot a fake a mile away... The leather in a fake will not patina (google it) and usually will fall apart.
