Well for our 1st yr PHY lab we have to actually perform an experiment and thn present it to the class? Any suggestions?

Currently we were thinking things like calculation viscoities of diffrent liquids by measuring the velocity of objects travelling throught it, Projectiles, collisions,Fluid Flow..etc ect

Basically anything that does not need really expensive random material.

Build an Atwood Machine and use it to calculate g (the Earths gravitational acceleration).

Or precisely time a pendulum and calculate g from that.

Those are usually crowd pleasers.
