With a name like Gods Army "Hizballah" will be hard to defeat. If the Israeli cause has sympathy from the Jews and their friends and sympathizers but perhaps not of all of the West, I can imagine that Hizballah has an enormous basis of sympathy behind it even if the majority may condemn their methods at times.

Hizbollah managed to give the Israeli army a very hard time but they didn't win the war. Look at their dead. Well over a thousand.
The problem is that Hezbollah does not have disarm. This means war again at some future date. Iran will tell them when.
Next time Isreal goes in with full strength and Hezbollah will cave it completely. No, the Zionist philosophy is not dead. It would take more than a mere skirmish to hurt it.

No, hizbullah didn't win, but they didn't lose either.

The zionist philosphy, wrong as it is, is still alive and well and will stay that way until israel chooses to give up the goal of being a jewish state (a goal which happens to be mutually exclusive with western democracy).

Yes, I know that I just said the zionist philosphy will live until it dies. Sue me. :p

I think the Israelis were too reserved, and too cautious in their attacks. As result I don't think they have accomplished their goals and they kind of emboldened the Hezbollah Guerrillas. By the way I know 'reserved' sounds odd to say because everyone was complaining so much about the Israeli's brutal attacks and excessive force but they should have done more.

Hezboollah lost! Isreal advance 18miles into hezbollah. Hezbollah lost many out post and now is claim there victory over the people kill, but i think isreal won because they move 18miles into hezbollah and the international army has there back... (hezbollah started because the cried over two captured soldiers)

No, at most they have been given a reprieve with time to lick their wounds, resupply and regroup, so they can continue again because Hezbollah won't stop until the world joins together and stops them.

Please explain the Zionist philosophy so we can answer your question, because it sounds like you don't know what you are talking about.
Nobody won this piddling, ugly little chapter in the endless war between stupid men.
