You'd really need to narrow it down more, specifically what area, Southern California is rather large, Orange County? the metropolitan area? The San Fernando Valley, or further north, Santa Clarita, etc., where? first you needed to mention that, I have a few appraisers I hire on a regular basis in different areas, I could tell them about you, or give you their number, you can contact me at: onefestivebunny@yahoo.com
Good luck in your search!

Sounds like you are qualified and have a lot to offer. I cant imagine you will have a hard time finding something. I dont know of anyone but my suggestion is to do the door to door thing. I know it sucks and its probably not what you wanted to hear but really it is the best way considering the circumstances. I would take your resume WITH a cover letter explaining what you have to offer and what you are looking for. At first pick only the biggest real estate companies and visit them.....if you dont get any bites work your way down the list. But I truly think that if you go in and introduce yourself eventually someone will either offer you something or will know of someone that has an opportunity for you.
But you really do need to get out there and introduce yourself, its not like your applying for a specific advertised position. You are looking for something specific and will have to network.
Good luck, I know something will turn up!!

Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.
