Cloning is disgusting and against the words of God. Just think of the situation that your own clone would take over your live. Isn't that a disgusting thought ?

I am against animal cloning as well, although human cloning is even more horrible.

So a person can be made quicker, stronger, smarter, or so they can resist viruses that normal people can't etc... I'm sure the military has already done it and you'll hear about it in a Science magazine 20 years down the road when it's finally declassified like the B-2 stealth bomber... so everyone can stop whining...
If you go to "Science" magazine on their website you can read that laboratories in Europe have already cloned ears for people that are so powerful that you wouldn't even need to use your eyes. The United States spends more money on military technology than any other technologies COMBINED. The millions or billions of dollars that genetics is worth world wide to militaries or corporations is way to much for any "ethics" so everyone can just stop whining.
But why talk about cloning anyways, that's old, there's a new genetic process (i'll look for all the articles) that replicates a life form instead of "copying". Which was what that laboratory in Europe was using. Besides, if the USA for some spectacularly stupid reason didn't use cloning, I'm sure other countries like North Korea could care less.

Cloning already is a part of modern society. I'm going to guess that you mean only human cloning. Cloning is weird, but cloning is more than one thing - there are different types. Its human reproductive cloning that is the "scariest" to most people. Cloning can and does have some medical applications, so its not all bad. I think that eventually certain persons will demand the right to procreate in the form of human reproductive cloning as they may not have any other way to do it - it will be a very, very long time before this happens, but as it too has potential beneficial medical applications (such as the replacement of a defective chromosome that will lead to a catastrophic genetic illness) it should at least be studied to a limited extent in the laboratory. I know it sounds weird, but we live in strange times.

Definitely not. I wouldn't want a replacement of myself. Besides, clones can never equal man in all aspects. Physical clones may be produced, but absolutely nothing beyond that.

No, cloning disrupts evolutionary process and it takes a lot of time to grow a clone. Why dont we just gave more birth normally?
