You can get some hormone tablets but they must be started a few days before, so book an appointment with your GP. Or if you're on the pill just take you next pack straight after the current one.

Enjoy your hols!

Silly as this might sound but birth control will stop you from having it or at the very least delay it. I suggest the patch it is meant to be more effective then the pill and you can get ones you leave on for 7 days so you don't have to remember it. Unless of course you are going on your holiday for the reason of urrmmm getting pregnant and then birth control wouldn't be a good idea

there is hormone medicine with estrogene. u start taking it 3 days previous to due period and continue as long as u don't want period to start. after u stop taking them period will start in 3 days. those pills can be only prescribed by doctor. u might experience some itching. this is not birth control pill. this is special treatment for stopping period only.

You can get a sort of one off pill, you take it for a month and it you don't get your period untill you stop taking them.

I don't advice you to do that though, I took them once and when my period finally came it was the most painful one I ever had.
