I vote for Capt. Boomerang. Despite his weapons, and the way the writers try to portray him as a badass, I still think he is lame, as is his insipid costume and accent.

Rainbow Raider. The least threatening villain of all time.

well cdf-rom certainly did a nice write up.

I was thining that Mirror Master should go straight as well, since optics and telecom are huge industries, he'd do well. Then dammit, I read an old comic that showed DC used that angle w/ the Monicle in the 1980's! Wow, you'd think they'd learn.

(Same thing for Juggernaut when he was busy doing free demolition that would have cost hundreds of thousands, while his partner robbed a bank. Is that sensible risk/reward???)

Certainly MM and Capt. B are bad. What about the Turtle? Uh, what was his deal anyway? He was SLOW! That's a super-villain???
Fiddler? The man played a freakin violin! Ooohh, scary.
Rainbow Raider? DC really sunk to lows here.

But Abra Kdabra was the worst. A 64th C magician? Ugh. Time-travel is already fraught w/ problems, but 64th C??? Gee you think maybe he'd only want to travel back to the 63rd C? And the LSH's 30th C looked pretty good...C'mon!

I actually have a story arc created where all of these villains have no scientific/technical ability, but their gimmicks are all packaging, with the science put together by Braniac, who has been testing and targeting Flash all along, but Superman happens to get in his way. When Braniac finally leaves, we discover that violins, heat wands, cold guns, and mirrors don't do squat, and these rogues were playing w/ food coloring and flashing light.

They're all pretty dumb. Look at Captain Cold and Heat Wave. For years they wasted their talents, when, with the scientific and engineering know how they showed to be able to design their weapons, they could have made millions by licensing the patents to some big manufacturer! (Heat Wave did eventually go straight, for which I'm glad.) Grodd was a s/f menace. Professor Zoom stumbled on a lucky break-- that he just happened to have a historic interest in the Flash and that he just happened to be there when the satellite with Flash's costume appeared-- I mean, come on. Too unreal. Abra Kadabra. What a loser. Don't they have psychological treatments in his future era that could cure him of his obsession? I feel sorry for Mr Element/ Mr Alchemy. Pied Piper, Trickster, they're lightweights. Weather Wizard, same. The Top? Now THERE'S a useless villain for you! He could put a spin on things! Big Deal! Bill Clinton did it better! I was glad when they killed him off. Golden Glider-- a pathetic, whiny spoiled brat g/f, who only became a villain out of revenge. The only thing she has going for her is the sick lust/hate conflict she has for the Flash-- she hates his guts but wants his body, in compensation for losing her bf, the Top.

I would like to see a story where Boomeran runs afoul of Batman, then it could be boomerang vs. Batarang, and he could finally get whupped with his own weapon in a humiliating way and it would only add to the honor and prestige of the Darknight Detective. Then Boomer could slink back to Oz with his tail between, and we'd never have to hear of him again.

But in my opinion, the lamest Flash villain is Mirror Masterbater. I mean, come on. Didn't he THINK of that when he was choosing his villain name...? OF COURSE he did (subconsciously!) He was a jailbird when he first stumbled on how to make his trick mirrors (not too many women in the slammer with the men...!) OF COURSE that's what all the other villains call him behind his back! OF COURSE he's too proud to admit it's a dumb name! Why do you THINK he's never been shown involved with a woman? Why did you THINK he keeps going after the Flash when he could be successful in some other line of work...? Same motive as the Golden Glider, I suspect.

Anyhow, that's my opinion.

None of them honestly. Superman and Batman have way better villains than The Flash does.
