my bf's family only can speak and understand 1 language very well. I have no idea how to communicate with them cause i cant speak their language. What shall i do?? Please help me..

Here are some ideas.....
1. Get a dictiionary with the language they speak....Try to learn a couple of words daily....or...get one of those tapes to learn the language..listen to it while in the car....standing in line..walking....it should become second nature to you at some point....
2. On your BF's birthday....send his mother a bouquet of flowers..and her dad a box of chocolates or a gift card to somewhere for dinner...I always write on them...thanks for bringing him into the world...I enjoy their company....and their sense of humor..and I wouldn't be this happy, if it weren't for both of you! This shows that you care for her..and respect her parents for how they raised her..and so forth....
3. Another idea.....try to find someone who speaks the language who can go with you...and tell the parents that you are trying to learn the language..and they might be able to help you..converse better.....
4.Go to a dance or club...or listen to music sung in that language...take out books from the library about that part of the world they live in ..or are from..so you will be able to understand them better...

In the world of edict, it is Rudd for people to speak their language in front of a guest that don't speak their language. Even if it is in a home.. Try to get your bf to explain to his family, that you don't understand what is being said between him and the rest of his family.. Common since tells me that you have already explained that to your bf.. The only other offer I can make is to learn a second language, it will help you in your job, maybe... Good Luck..

learn the language i speak Spanish and my boyfriend doesn't he has been very eager to learn, learn the basics hello,how are you etc.. tell your man to help out
