Being a Laker fan, I certainly miss seeing the two of them together in Laker uniforms!
I wish Shaq would have stayed with L.A... a prevoius post was absolutely right...shooting guards are a dime a dozen, even it it's Kobe or Michael... great centers like Shaq come along once very 10-15 years.

Im a die hard laker fan and I mean I think that they could have won another championship or two if they would have settled things down but trading Shaq was a smart move and I really didnt mind the idea of trading him but the thing is that the trade with miami was terrible. If you think about it now we got Odom and Kwame for Shaq. We could have gotten a better trade. Oh well....its stupid to look back on it now...LAkers are slowly improving and honestly if we get lucky with seeding and play our asses off we honestly have a chance this year and if not then the year after.

Well, the best combo, I felt, was the Jordan Pippen combo, for years. Chicago just isn't the same since they left.
Stockton and the mailman Malone was a good set as well, along with Bird and McHale....helped the Celtics to several rings.
same can be said for Magic and Kareem, or Thomas and Lambeer, but the pistons were more than just a tandem...they had a lot of players, that all could contribute....
Shaq and Kobe were good together, but it was a time bomb, waiting to explode. Two massive egos....and it got out of hand with the media.

Dynasties in general turn people away from the league. The best thing is when different teams win every year and there's always many teams in contention, instead of one dominant duo winning all the championships and everyone else trailing far behind.
So no, I don't miss them.

yea i really miss them both alot together, i would say that kobe and shaq are a way better duo than shaq and d-wade in my opinion!

That was a duet from the past nowdays are more individualism not as good as Jordan/Pippen or Malone/Stockton but frankly Shaq/Kobe never had that technique.......
