Oh lordie, what a super idea. Also, you may care to know that I have seen women with such wide hips that they could carry a cup either side or a couple of bottles of tomato sauce or vinegar.

Not really - the salt spills onto the bed when you roll over - far better to have a bed tray and sit up in bed and eat with salt and pepper pot and bottle of vinegar to hand on the tray

Never tried it, and don't think I would want to. Wouldn't want my stomach to be all sloppy, that's why I have dishes.
Furthermore, I don't eat food in bed. I like a nice clean bed.
