You are wrong. Our government sends so much in money to help, even those that are poor that trash and hate us, the Sunami for example. It is just a reputation that our government wants to upkeep. Too bad they don't care about the American People starving and losing their homes, Jobs, etc. I think it is long past time for these countries like France to carry their own weight, along with the other countries too. Why should our tax dollars go to them when America is going broke???

I recall millions of dollars in aid being sent to indonesia when that monster tsunami hit. An aircraft carrier was dispatched to act as an airport to shuttle workers and food, clothes water. there was nothing to gain in return. To show their gratitude many of the people wore their Bin Laden tshirts when they came to get food, but the US didnt stop handing out food and water and clothes.
I think your opinion is one sided.
The US gives a lot of help to other countries and people and too often they have the same attitude as you.

Why is it the world only likes the US when they need something? Palestine hates us but they take the millions of dollars of aid we send them every year. And give us terrorists! France hates us but they didn't mind us saving their butts twice. And didn't even pay us the money we lent them back. Indonesia hates us but let us spend a couple billion when the Tsunami hit them. Africa hates us but takes millions in food, medicine, and money from us. We got Aids!South America, Mexico, and Turkey accepted millions of dollars in assist and workers after their earthquakes. We get heroin, cocaine, and illegal immigration from them. Makes me think were not to bright

That is not exactly true, there are a few countries we provide aid to that do not offer us anything. But many do, and that is just life. It is always easier to help someone when you you will get some benefit from it.
