Scottish band and i know that they play Hogmany gigs around Scotland. One of my English brothers is taking the piss out of them and i wish to prove that they are still a driving force in the alternative music scene. Ta.

Pat Kane has been a writer for quite some time, recently published a book called "The Play Ethic" which was fairly quickly remaindered and you can buy for a couple of quid in most book clearance shops.

I though Hue and cry were incredibly cool and still listen to them, but I am sure I read lately that they were enjoying just playing the clubs

They were on Hit Me Baby One More Time on ITV last year, where old pop acts had a chance to try and reluanch their careers, they were really good and I think they made it to the final (which was won by Shakin Stevens and it didn't really relaunch him).

I saw them on a programme recently, might have been one of those one hit wonder type programmes. They are still trying to get a second hit
