You are what you are and you're attracted to the people you are attracted to.
There should be no shame in it. I don't believe we can choose these things.
I think it would be good to tell your parents. And it is possible they might not understand right away.
First, though, it might be really helpful for you to talk to someone a counsellor or maybe your doctor can recommend someone to see. This person might be able to help you tell people and come to terms with who you are. They might even bring your family in for sessions and get everyone talking.
I wish you luck. It won't be an easy road but it's better live as who you are and not denying parts of yourself.

i think in this century u dont need to worry about it. Its time for the society to accept this kind of people. Well i thnk there is nothing wrong in being a lesbian or a gay... I mean they are all human too. The only thing different is that they have interest with the same gender. I also feel its a more healtier relationship. So you dont need worry.. Your parents love you & im sure they will accept you for who you are..

Personally I don't about changing from one to the other. People say your born gay and others disagree but I thik its all about preference. Now your parents might be in shock and maybe even against it but you have to realize even as much as you want to make them happy and proud of you it is your life and you only get one life! They love you so they should support you on whatever your decision but if they don't I'm sorry. Unfortunetly you'll just have to sacrifice their happiness for your own. If you are a lesbian and you like females so be it. Their will always be someone to criticize but you just have to ignore it. Good luck Baby Girl!

It would be better if they found out from you their daughter. Not from a hateful ex girlfriend. just break it to them. If they get upset give them time to adjust. after six months or so and things are still weird then accept that your parents won't accept your way of life.... It won't be the end of the world.

if nature created u like this, it's not ur fault and there's no point in trying to become straight. If u r a real lesbian, it'll become obvious sooner or later. u don't have to hide it. try and learn how to live with it and don't feel ashamed. and be prepared to have an open talk with ur parents.

You will be what you will be when you find peace with yourself and stop worrying what others think. Be true to yourself. If you want to be straight you will be straight, if you think you should be straight..you have a lot of personal questions to resolve.
