I'm really interested why Israel was such a bully. I understood her reason when he attacked the places near the borders, but Israel now nearly destroyed Lebanon's whole infrastructure. Isreal has obviously prepared for this war a long time ago, just waited for the opportunity. But at the moment I really have no idea why... I'm waiting for an expert who tells it on TV or in a newspaper.

Lets concentrate on another problem at hand ; our boys fate in Iraq, and what will happen to them if they stay there any longer !!

Hizballah, haeded by Nasrallah, is a inhumane terrorist group. Yes, they formed when Israel controlled Lebanon. But Israel was DEFENDING itself in the area. They needed to control the area to stay safe. But provoking this conflict was wrong. Israel had to avenge the 2 kidnapped soldiers. Hizballah deserves to be killed.

It seems that Israel with the backing of American clout can speak the language of superiority: "We do what is right, How dare you challenge us, you midgets !" The army of God, in the eyes of many -Hezbollah- can only fight like David in front of Goliath. So much maltreatment of the Palestinian people !

im glad its (somewhat) stopped. i support israel, but something needs to be done to bring peace to the middle east, and that is two states -- one for israel, one for palestine. i think that will help a lot but there will always be friction because israel is a jewish country surrounded by muslim countries that think it shouldnt exist. the UN and the US also need to do something to make sure that stupid things like hezbollah controlling the border with israel dont keep happening, because that was just an accident waiting to happen.
