I'D PICK PONTING UP.

WHILE LEADING HIS SIDE OR OCCUPYING THE CREASE OR SHATTERING THE WICKETS BY A WHISKERING THROW OR GRABBING AN IMPOSSIBLE CATCH,
I FIND MORE SPIRIT IN PONTING.

hey are you mad Ricky Ponting is the best he has saved so many mathces for his team while sachin the old man alright he has got 35 100s but it doesnt matter that how many hundreds the thing matters is that against which team i mean he has never saved a match for his team he plays for money not for his team if the indian can kick out ganguly for his bad form than why they didnt throw sachin anyway talking about game spirit so to say the least there is nobody better than ponting nowadays he is at his top form but sachin was a nice player a great batsman and a part time good bowler but now his days ar gone so he should better quit

Of course it´s Sachin Tendulkar who has more spirit than anyone in this Cricketing-World. as far is Ricky Ponting is concerned he is also a very good spirited guy. But still he shows his anger on the team for example (i still remember) in the match against Somerset. Somerset chased down a very difficult total of 344, and Ricky Ponting was really angry on his team, and when they lost the match: Ricky Ponting surrendered in front of the crowds.

And now in the recent series against Bangladesh: Aftab Ahmed was given not-out, and in-spite of been given N-O; Ricky Ponting asked the 3rd-umpire to check it again, and the umpire gave him out. Because he was really angry on Ricky Ponting , because he had a long chat with him, but he didn´t let it go and, umpire showed the red lights to the batsman. Despite knowing the fact that he isn´t out. So there it shows the difference between them. Both are my one of the favorite players but i will still say one is better when it comes to the spirit, and that is none other than Sachin Tendulkar.

Thanks!

Both of them have a good game spirit, Sachin even contributes with BALL.
And he has a record which is too much for any cricketer. No person can be there if he has not the highest game spirit. Game spirit cannot be shown on face, but it has to be in heart.

The Australian team has the worst sporting spirit - they are pretty sore losers. It has to be Sachin over Ponting.

Definitly Ponting...

Obviously Sachin has the game sprit, but not comparable to ponting

sachin is injured most of the time, so its he who has most of the spirit...just joking, i think sachin scores over ponting in every criteria, of cricket.

Ofcourse Sachin has more game sprit. He has a score more than 10,000. Only one or two players has more score than Sachin in test.
