I think it's as strong as love. The true opposite of love is apathy -- not caring at all.

Love and hate goes hand in hand. As much as you love someone a thin line comes and that love can go to hate really quick. You get a deeper feeling because it upsets the blood pressure and your insides in both emotions good or bad.
Love is good and happy and pressure and emotional.
Hate is evil and over something someone said or did to you.
Hate can mess with you inside and lingers long.
Love can enjoy all of your senses and last a short minute or two and a reason why you need to keep going back for the feeling to last and distance can take the love away be it a person or a thing.
I hope this helps

hatred is a deeper feeling because there are no limits when it comes to hate. Love is the default in this world. We are born, and being nice and joyful and friendly to everyone is something that almost seems natural, since MOST people are that way in the world. Hatred, on the other hand, is something unusual. It's against humanity, it's against God, it's against our souls and our moral values as people. When we truly hate someone, there's no telling what we are capable of, because, as i said above, there are no limits. That's why evil is always so dangerous. Nobody has a limit on what they will do if they truly hate someone, or have such animosity towards another human being. I hope i made sense there. If i confused you, don't hate me! bye! lol

It is actually closer to the brain.

Hatred is an electro chemical reaction that stems from fear and is a primal urge in the reptilian part of the human brain governing self preservation.

Love is also an electro chemical sub reaction in the human brain governed by the instinct to propagate and to nurture and protect offspring, siblings, mating partners and parents or one's "clan"

Humans have assigned subjective value and attributes to these objective chemical reactions based on a bipolar scale created by previous cultures going back as far as can be remembered or recorded.

hatred can consume a person cripple them so to speak. it can control your way of thinking, your actions, your stress, your spirituality. hatred can be closer to your heart than love depending on your belief. my belief is satan is the invisible ruler of the world therefore hatred is by far more popular more dominating. love is from god. "enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way the leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. does that hit home? answer your question?

No way ever! LOVE wins every battle! Hatred is a negative feeling that will kill you one day one way or another. Forget all about hate, and start to forgive! a very fine plan! for all to follow!

Because hate is real in most of the case but love can be artificial in order to gain something or for some favor. This world is a like coal mine hatred is like coal and love is like diamond. you will find more coal than diamond. But real love is like a big diamond and is most deep than any other thing in this world.

Hatered is the baser of the two feelings. Person with a higher level of conciousness will always love than hate.

I think so, because something has to really strike a nerve close to your heart to make you feel hate. If you didn't care, then you wouldn't expend the energy it takes to hate. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference.

I don't know about it being a deeper feeling, but I know that hate comes easier than love.
