Because AFL is still a minority following up there compared to League and Union, and they are more intent on catering to the majority.... watch Sunrise in the mornings.... they cater to AFL followers!
Am sure it will start to increase as the time gets closer, and believe it or not the coverage up there is 100% better now than it was, when I first moved there 10 years ago!
As for Matthew White.... imbecile!

simply because afeter axing Blue Heelers to be able to afford the AFL coversage they have realised their dreadful mistake and now cant find another network that would want to buy the rights to AFL......
