why we cant create files named as *con* any one has a answer?

This is a simple question. In windows operating system some names are reserved as they are allocated for DOS Device file names. For example CON is a device file name. You may also not be able to create file with PRN as PRN is for printer. The following is a list of names you have to avoid when creating files and folders in Windows Systems.
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM0, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT0, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9
