First of all ignore Davids response cuz he's an ignorant redneck! The best advice I can give you is to cut back slowly. On day 1, cut what you smoke in a day in half. Day 3, cut that number in half. Day 5 cut in half, and continue this until you are down to nothing or like 1 joint/blunt a day. If days are too soon use weeks instead. For example if you smoke like 20 a week cut down to 10 by your second week and so on. I don't think they inveted marijuana patches yet but we should really work on the patent! Good Luck!

First-weed isn't physically addictive.

The addiction you feel is psychological...you like being high.

Basically, you just need to quit....either that or wait until you get caught and you are forced to quit.

You do need counselling though. Don't kid yourself. You need to surround yourself with those who don't smoke and live clean lives.

You got yourself into this mess. When you are ready, you will get yourself out.

You didn't want a lecture so I'm not going to give you one. I'm also not going to give you and sympathy either. Been around too many addicts to truly care. There is no easy way out. When you are ready to stop being an addict, you will be willing to do what is necessary. Until then, you have a problem.

Do you mean you are a rel big person who smokes marijuana? Or you are a person who smokes lots of marijuana? Either way, the best remedy is to stop. If you make up your mind to quit, you will.

You have to want to quit. Human will power is stronger than any addiction. Also I would advise keeping busy if you have lots of free time take up some social activities, hobbies, take a night class or get a job if you are doing something else you will be less tempted to smoke.

My friend, you still need some counseling and lecture for you to do with and accept nicotine patches. Ask for some professional piece of advice and then things would be easy with you.

Just stop. Go out and do something to take up all your time. nicotine patches will not help you. Pray and be committed to quiting. Good Luck!

Dear Smoker,
really if your aim is quitting get rid of your bong, see your Dr for some temporary benzo tabs to help you cope, soak in a warm bath twice a day with 1 glass of vinegar and 1 glass of epsom salt, will help you detoxing quicker.last but not least remember thc can cause paranoia and psychoses. Good luck.

You already admit you need help, so I don't see the problem with counselors. Stop being ashamed of your problem. Counselors will be happy to help you. Having worked with many counselors I can tell you they never chit chat amongst themselves to laugh at people, instead they talk about how happy someone came for help.
