the message starts from a sender/encoder and at the other end is a receiver/decoder. the encoder and decoder can be humans talking, or the sending and receiving of data by machines

Communication means to give or exchange information. People communicate with words and with pictures, with dance and the arts. Most animals (including people) use “body language” as well as sound and smell in order to communicate with one another.

Encarta defines it as the exchange of information: the exchange of information between people, e.g. by means of speaking, writing, or using a common system of signs or behavior

Communication is the exchange of thoughts,facts,opinions by the communicator (sender) to the communicatee(receiver).As it is a two way process, the sender has to comprehend well and the receiver has to understand the matter.These processes are identified by encoding and decoding
