Let me tell ya.... :)
Society screws all of us up from the beginning by telling us stories like Cinderella and Snow White...how do everyone of those fairy tales end?
...and they lived happily ever after...
Can I call BS! What does that do to a small girls mind? Her expectations are that it will all work out, just get married and together we'll live.....
So I wish someone would have told me that it's not happily ever after, that love doesn't conquer all, and that being married at 17/18 is ridiculous!
You should take your marriage vows seriously, however remember the 3 A's.
Abuse. Addiction. Affairs.
Those are all deal breakers or better yet vow breakers and if the other one has already "broken" the vows then you have a free ticket O.U.T out!

Use your common sense where the marriage vows is concerned.
I wish I had known that people are not the same before and after marriage. I think he feels this way too.
The moral of the story is ...it is a BIG risk marrying anyone.......they are not who they seem to be before marriage.

been there myself..
I wish I had known that he was a control freek and lied.
i took the vowes seriously too, for 26 years.
Then I relized God doesn't call us to be doormats or to be verbally abused.
ALso divorce sometimes is necessary, i felt that If didn't learve Iwould die, emotionally, physically, spiritualy etc.
I had to end the marriage. I am now more me than I have ever been. If you really need to do it....do it

Yes I had that problem as well, I had it stuck in my head once married always married no matter what. Well after seven years of him living in bars and playing around I walked out with the kids didn't care what anyone said. But that's how grandma and mom had it in their heads as well. So lucky me.

I wish someone had told me that love is like an addiction.
I would never have fallen in love if I'd known..
Now, can't live without her.. But I'll give my kids a headstart, assuming they listen..
