Kim

Terror has coexisted with humanty since the beginning in some form or another. History is full of incidents which would qualify as terrorrism today. Good and evil go side by side. As long as humanity exists terror will continue. Yes many of us want it to stop but its is unfortunate that we cannot do anything about it.

You cannot stop terror but you can do your part by raising your voice against it. Writing about terror in forums like this will educate people about terror. We amy not find the cure but it may be possible in some way to ease the pain.

When Americans stop calling other people terrorists.

The world has always had its ups and downs but it only became so polarized when George Bush became President. I am a Christian as he claims to be. And I have read my Bible and no where does it say go and kill other people because they have a different faith; Jesus taught love and forgiveness. The Americans created the failed Nations of Afghanistan and Iraq; and it is hand in glove with Israel in destroying Lebanon. Right now the country has a problem with the fact that Somalia is being ruled by Muslims. I say let it be; if the Muslims mange to unite the country then stay out of Somalia's business.

If people were left to resolve their own issues as opposed to having democracy forced down their throats (when it doesn't work for everyone) the world would be a much better place.

And perhaps if Americans stopped interfering with other countries, other countries would stop interfering with them. Look at Germany and France; they are perceived internationally as being big Western nations as America is but because of their policy of always trying to be principled in their approach to international differences between Nation States, no one bombs them.

Kim,
We cannot control what others are doing and thinking. Their ideologies allow them to do such nasty things. We can only control our own thoughts and actions. We should control them by seeing to it that no body gets hurt through our thoughts or actions. By understanding that God dwells within us and in everyone else.

When everyone on earth understands the above, we will be rid of terror. Till then we can only pray.

Sincerely,
Yogesh.

As soon as humanity as a whole decides that killing is not a way to achieve objectives. I would not kill someone (including myself) because their religion is not the same as mine. Not everyone feels the same.

So to answer your question...as long as there are unhappy people who hate a specific way of life and are willing to kill or die for their hatred...it will never end.

I hope for your sake that's a rhetorical question.

Which makes me wonder why you'd ask a rhetorical question on here.
