We have become so politcally correct that one can not make ANY comment on race, gender, politics becouse the moment one does, one automatically becomes a racists, a sexiest an antisemitic or whatever. Mel Gibson is being crucified because he said that most of the current wars we are fighting can be traced back to some Israel Issue...so he is a fu**ing anti semitic, Larry Summers president of Harvard was forced out of the university because he said that some research appears to suggest that men have greater intellectual ability than women...so he is a damn sexiest. any politican who says that we have to be careful with illegal immigration is a low life racist and anti Mexican. What is going on here? If a bank robbery takes place in New York city, history shows that, low income, inner city, young black males are the most likely to have commited the crime. But No, political correctness would force the police to chase investment bankers living in park avenue before they go to the Bronx.

Is what you are asking about political correctness or you feeling like your personal convictions are percieved as wrong in the face of socially shifting norms? The fact of the matter is that any cultural institution can spin political correctness in their favor, i.e. patriotism prioritizes faith in the federal presidential administration's politics over state politics (such was not the case prior to the Civil War). Certainly, today federal patriotism seems more politically correct than the act of questioning it. Political correctness is not "owned" by any one side of the political spectrum, so let's not try use it as an idealogical crutch.
You seem to be more concerned about speaking what is on your mind without meeting any social resistance. Get over it. Everyone's got to deal with it throughout their lives. The only way others are going to respect your opinion is if you provide research to back up your claims or repeat your opinion more than the relevance of facts. As far as your examples of anti-semitism, sexism, and racism go, if you think it is easier and preferable to refer to other people in stereotypes (that includes these one-liner research points), then you'll find life to be increasingly offensive and bitter. The reality supports that you cannot know everything you need to know about an individual based on some externally ascribed label. In fact, the more we deconstruct these stereotypes, the closer we are to gaining greater social freedom to investigate their truths.

We all have a right to our opinions, as others have the right to agree or disagree with those opinions. There is such a thing as a good hearted debate, which often we learn from. But it has become more often the rule that we can not accept others opinions or their right to their opinions, we must try to change their opinions to conform to our own opinions. I would not say a loss of freedom but more specifically a lack of tolerance and respect for others.

I think the days of truth and freedom never existed, we've somewhat been in a stage of entrapment ever since we were born. All because of the stupid things we do that don't ever seem to get better until we're out of this life.

Politcal Correctness would mean solving all the problems, but of course that won't happen any time soon.

When exactly where these "days of truth and freedom?" I think we need to remember Jackie Gleason's quote here, "The past remembers better than it lived."

I THINK MOST PEOPLE ARE REALLY HIGH STRUNG AND THAT THEY ARE DISHONEST WITH THEMSELVES REGARDING ISSUES IN THEIR OWN LIVES WHICH PUTS PEOPLE ON THE CONSTANT DEFENSE. PEOPLE ACT LIKE BECAUSE ONE PERSON SAYS SOMETHING RIGHT OR WRONG THAT IT IS FACTUAL OR THAT IT MAY PERSUADE SOME ONE TO CHANGE THEIR MIND OR CHANGE THE WORLD AS THEY KNOW IT TO BE OR SOMETHING DRASTIC LIKE THAT. I THINK THAT IT MAKES PEOPLE FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE TO BE ABLE TO CATAGORIZE THINGS WHETHER IT BE BY STATISTICS OR PREJUDICES. I THINK THAT DAILY STRESSES AND UNHAPPINESS WITH PEOPLE'S INNERSELF IS THE CAUSE OF THIS LACK OF FREEDOM OF SPEACH PROBLEM WE HAVE.

Truth and freedom will always exist, and they will always be under attack.

The question is, who will defend them?

Stand up; the time is now. The time is always.
