It is better to first do practice in a Hawaiian manual Guitar, and after at least five years of regular practice switch over to an electric guitar for stage performance. Best electric guitars are from Holland or Spain. You go to google site where you will get more details on the subject.

Hi, music friend! My experience are that the most guitars are OK today, and you can get a good guitar fairly cheap, however, my best advise will be go out to their music stores around and try them out! There are a lot out there besides Fender and Gibson. I love my Ibaneze 7 str jem Steve Vai mod. use you time and go around and try out a few, you soon find one you like! Keep the music alive and well! Peace and love from Norway!

Fender Squire Strat - affordable with pretty much all the same features as the more expensive ones.

Gibson Epiphones - Same description as before.

After you play these models, then you can upgrade.

Get an Ibanez RG. Those are the best guitars.

Or anything from Ibanez for that matter.
