Some women do. If you are "checking" that can be the reason that you still have milk; the more you handle your breasts, the more likely it is to continue. I would *never* suggest taking drugs to dry up the milk; every drug that used to be on the market has been removed because it killed women using it. You don't want to be the statistic that causes the next drug to be recalled!! If you leave your breasts alone, the milk will dry up at the proper time. In the meantime, if you are uncomfortable, try putting raw green cabbage leaves on the breasts. It is used even in some hospitals.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have had this experience also. It takes a few months for your body to realize that there is no longer a viable baby for you to be breast feeding. You can go to the doctors and they can give you medication or a shot to help the milk dry up. I will say a special prayer for you.

if you are in your 1st trimester you shouldn't even have any discharge maybe your seeing things, when i had a miscarriage at being 4months pregnant all i had was a lil belly starting no milk... ask your doctor!!! maybe your pregnant again!!!

Yes, perfectly normal. See you doctor and they can prescribe a drug that will help you clear up the excess milk that is produced.
