hmm..well actually its more likely the thyroid is making the B12 deficiency. chronic inflammation of the thyroid could be the cause of B12 deficiency.

there are a few serious complications of B12 deficiency, but the most common that is confirmed for everyone is pernicious anemia..meaning ur body wont be getting enough oxigen and this will help in degrading your body organs/functions, especially nervous system and cardiovascular system.

solution is simple,go get your B12 injection.
if you dont really have B12 deficiency even, it wont do you any harm.

It can mean that your nervous system can't function as well... I don't think it can cause your thyroid to malfunction but having it there helps it function a whole lot better!!!! Being deficient in any vitamins and minerals can lead to a problem and your thyroid is reliant on lots of things as are all the other organs of the body. Yes, eat marmite! But also nuts, fish and meat (if you are vegetarian, then pulses like lentils etc.). Hope that helps and you feel better.
