The price at release for the PS3 will be 599.00 plus tax, that for the super version of the PS3. It is a bit much, but what you get is the best gaming system ever put on the face of the earth. Sony has spent 3 billion dollars developing this system and it has pretty much put a lot of the company's future on this system so i expect nothing less than the best.Some people have said it is too much so why don't you go and buy the Wii instead, but the Wii is weak in terms of graphics and in the game area it has nothing for people over the age of 12 years. I would rather pay for the PS3 then blow money on something that was so weak.

The price is going to be 600 dollars...at first I thought it was gonna be a thousand but then no one would buy it. I still wont buy it for 600 though...i could get a 360 and like 4 games for that money!

I can't believe anyone would buy an Xbox 360 and 4 games for $600. I could buy a Nintendo Wii and 7-8 games for that much!

Its funny how its the best system on planet and it hasnt even come out yet. lol. The 60gb will cost 600. With tax probably around 640. Not worth it to me.
