When you are four weeks pregnant where exactly would the baby be situated, i feel to my left of the belly button about 3 inches to the left like there is something there - it feels odd a cross between a very light stitch and trapped wind?

At this point the baby (or embyro) if you want to get technical, is SO small its no larger than the o i just typed. However your uterus is expanding, how ever its shouldnt be anywhere near your belly button just yet. Im at 7 weeks and my baby is only the size of a grain of rice right now..lol. I think you had it pegged when you said it felt like trapped wind...get used to the sensation of gas and unfortunately constipation...Fiber is your freind your intestines witll thank you for it I promise

it probably is a stitch. The baby is too tiny to feel, you may feel it a 3 months. Everything is getting pushed a little by your swelling uterus and this can cause stitches - just wait til the end, you won't be able to walk longer than 5 minutes without getting one!
Certain foods can give you wind when you are pregnant, so maybe it was last nights dinner!

Your baby is too tiny yet for you to feel anything, you probably won't feel the baby properly till your approx 16 to 20 weeks pregnant. At the moment you probably just have trapped wind as this can give the sensation of bubbles popping in your stomach which is sometimes how your first baby movements do feel. Also your uterus will already be starting to stretch and grow so this could also be a factor, try to relax and anjoy every moment of it and congratulations!!

At four weeks it is impossible to feel the baby as it is so incredibly tiny and will still be deep down in your pelvic area the most u would notice now are the hormonal changes to ur body, morning sickness if ur gonna get it and tiredness. congrats and good luck

At four weeks, the baby is so small and not detectable. Most likely, you are feeling cramps/pain/twinges due to the uterus growing.

You should ask a friend who has been through this
situation, or get a pregnancy test from your local
Pharmacy.
