i would have to say Brian Lara because he holds the current record for the most runs scored in a test match both in test and first class. 501* in first class and 400* in test match.

Presently no one is ahead of dravid. Under pressure, no other batsman plays like him. Forget about other batsmen like dhoni or gilkrist, who like to slog, increase average, increase popularity, and loose discilpline of the gentlemen's game. Dravid is a true technician on the feild.
